N55 will be collaborating on a regular basis with Architect Anne Romme. Among other projects, we are developing a new building system together.
We have recently established a new workspace in Copenhagen with the necessary machinery for realizing future systems.
Sam Kronick is on his way to work on WALKING HOUSE ( you can still watch the first steps here). Together we are going to upgrade the systems before it travels to the Emscher riverbank in Essen Germany, to participate in The European Capital of Culture 2010. We were asked to make two proposals for this occasion. Therefore we also developed a new thing called POWERSTATION. Due to the financial situation in Europe, the organizers where not able to raise the money for realizing POWERSTATION now. So we have to wait for another chance to make it happen.

The next exhibition will be at the Guggenheim in NY, where we are participating in "Contemplating the Void" Our contribution is a proposal for a demolition kit distributed to the visitors at the entrance.
WALKING HOUSE
The production of MICROISLAND in Cardiff, Wales is planned to start in May.
